There’s no doubt that listening to your favorite music can instantly make you happy. But scientists now find that music can do more for you than just cheer up.

Studies show that it has many health benefits.

Fresh research from Austria has found that listening to music can help patients with chronic back pain.

A recent survey by the mental health charity found that group therapy, such as art and music therapy, was the most useful after counselling.

1. Chronic back pain
